The MyClientSpot team has been hard at work updating several screens. We hope these changes will make our users lives easier and allow them to use MyClientSpot on a much greater range of device sizes.
IMPORTANT! While we’ve extensively tested these changes, your workflow may be different than what we’re expecting. Please test the changes carefully to make sure everything works well for you and your business and notify us if there’s anything we can do to make this process smoother for you. We anticipate going live with these changes on Sunday, June 19th so please try to complete your testing before then.
The first big update is to the project listing. The listing has the same columns it’s always had but the headings are now searchable and sortable just like the task listing screen that was updated in our last big update in the fall. Now that the table itself is searchable, the old project search screen is no longer needed.
The project edit screen has also been updated to use collapsible sections like the task edit screen. Sections also remember their collapsed or expanded state. Don’t use milestones? Collapse it and it won’t take up (much) space on the page.
Like the tasks screen, now projects and milestones can also have more than one responsible user.
We’ve made the file handling much more user-friendly:
- A preview is shown for some file types inside the panel.
- Image files can be viewed directly inside a popup modal (no more need to download images!).
- Files can now be uploaded by dragging and dropping them onto the files section.
- Multiple files can be uploaded at once and even directories can be uploaded as well.
- Files can be re-arranged into folders by dragging and dropping.
All these changes can be viewed at our beta site at: beta.myclientspot.com. You can login with your existing account and view all your data. IMPORTANT NOTE any changes made while testing with the beta site WILL NOT be saved. We reset the data on the beta site periodically without notice!
